This video single handedly made me return to disc golf after 3 years of absence. The problem with most DG form content is that they're from people who completely skipped most of my struggles as throwing is more natural for them. The #1 missing puzzle piece for me was to push the right shoulder forward to activate my back muscles. Most people do that naturally, so no-one was able to point it out to me. Until now. I know this video is pretty old already, but I just had to say thank you. I rewatch this whenever I need a new puzzle piece to solve. By far the best disc golf form video I've ever come across.

The shoulder thing; thanks so much. Engaging my shoulder right before I start uncoiling has helped a lot. Just as you describe, it has really added a significant snap to my throw. Appreciate it!

how do you bake this for unity

I feel like the 90 degree upper arm will be a huge breakthrough for me. I never get snap and it never feels powerful coming out of my hand. I'm trying to make something that locks my right upper arm to my torso like in that simulation. Something to ingrave how it'll feel. Obviously I won't wear it on the course😅

I wonder how it would fly if dipped in resin (to make it more durable).

I can see this video didnt get a lot of views, but honestly your very very good at this and if youd be able to put out quality stuff consistently i have zero doubt your channel would blow up. I hope you get back to videomaking!

Just tried that slack-right-arm-drive-the-left-arm-and-shoulder-around-thing a few times in my lounge. Stood there blinking and swearing (Holy @#***!!#) for quite a few seconds after my right arm flew past my eyes. I think I may have just experienced the whip. Quietly excited to go out and try this (+ a shopping list of notes I've taken from this excellent video). Lets see if this 50-something 160cm tall disc-addicted female (my habit started 4 months ago) can break the 70m barrier. I play in a social league with about 40 guys and... me. Need all the help I can get!!

I've been studying the form of your throw at 10:45, and wondering if you have any thoughts on being toe-oriented on the balls of feet, when you are clearly on your front heel and rotating on your heel not toes

Thanks for the tutorial! This is very useful. I am a newbie to Blender (coming from SketchUp), so please excuse me for any mistakes on my part. But the model provided looks a little different compared to what you have shown in the video: (a) The wooden boards for the bench are missing, and (b) the tree has very few leaves. I wonder if I am facing this issue due to a local factor, or if you have pared the model down to reduce the file size. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I like this and can relate! I really liked the blender part! Watch your wrist opens a little on the reachback which helps w spring but hurts accuracy in my experience! I used to overly do this and went back n forth over it 4 a while!
